Purpose of the certificate program
The purpose of the certificate program is to develop in masters of sociology and public administration comprehensive digital and management competencies necessary for the effective implementation of artificial intelligence in professional activities. The program provides thorough knowledge of the principles of AI, its types, socio-legal and ethical challenges that arise in the process of digitalization of society. Special emphasis is placed on mastering Agile and Scrum practices, which allow for flexible management of digital projects in conditions of rapid technological change. Graduates of the program will be prepared to implement innovative digital solutions in the public sector and social research, taking into account ethical and legal norms.
Features of participation of students in the Certificate Program
The certificate program is designed for students of the second (master’s) level of higher education of full-time and part-time forms of study at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, as well as external students. Registration for the program for students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute takes place during the period when students exercise their right to free choice of academic disciplines for the next academic year. Registration for the program for external students is carried out during the academic year.
Competencies and expected learning outcomes
Graduates of the certificate program will gain competence in the field of application of artificial intelligence in management and sociological practice, including understanding the principles of operation and the main types of AI. They will be able to critically evaluate the socio-ethical and legal aspects of the implementation of digital technologies, formulate strategies for the responsible use of AI. Masters students learn to manage digital projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, effectively adapting them to the needs of the public sector and social research. The expected result of the training is the formation of specialists who are able to reasonably use artificial intelligence to increase the effectiveness of management decisions and solve social problems, taking into account modern ethical and legal standards.
