\nOn March 13, the Department of Sociology at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Official Presentation of the Educational and Research Grant Project \u00abDrivers of Democratization\u00bb supported by the Swedish Institute (2024-2026).
\nThe event took place as a partnership meeting with Martin Hedberg, International Secretary of YWCA-YMCA Sweden, representatives of YMCA Ukraine, the Faculty of Sociology and Law, students, and faculty members from the Department of Sociology who are actively involved in the Grant Project.
\nDuring the meeting, participants discussed the strategy and future prospects of the Grant Project.
\nOn March 29, Sociology Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Sociology Department members held the first focus group online with the YMCA Kharkiv team.
\nThe discussion focused on the role of youth in Ukraine\u2019s democratization process, its potential as a driver of social change, and democratic practices in youth civil society organizations.<\/p>\n
