\u00a0The first in Ukraine School for urban studies CANactions in partnership with US Embassy in Ukraine, FEDORIV Hub and European Business Association introduces public lecture \u201cWhere is our Civic Imagination?\u201d that will be delivered on 4 October by one of greatest US urbanists Teddy Cruz and a political theorist Fonna Forman.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The event will be a real discovery for those interested in research of urban space, conflict studies, social transformations and bottom-up initiatives. Teddy and Fonna will speak about importance of thinking creatively and publicly about the future of the city, about strength of communities and collective aspiration and hope.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Teddy Cruz is a Professor of Public Culture and Urbanism at University of California, San Diego, a researcher of city conflicts, informal urbanization and urban culture. Fonna Forman is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of California San Diego, focused on role of civic engagement, public space and cross-sector collaboration in strategies of equitable and sustainable urban transformation.<\/p>\n
