However, it can be argued that such a massive use is functional to the emergence of a right wing cultural hegemonic discourse. The tools of myth manipulation, its consequences, and its culturally right-wing roots will be discussed on the basis of a framework indebted with the work of Italian German studies and myth scholar Furio Jesi and American cognitivist George Lakoff.
